The subject of the project is the design and revitalisation of single track, non-electrified, wide-track (1520 mm) railway lines No. 57 (from km 161.496 to km 188.260) and 923 (from km 0.000 to km 1.120) together with traffic control equipment and engineering facilities. Category of line No 57 – Priority, category of line No 923 – local significance. Line 57 is parallel to railway line 6. Railway No. 923 departs from line 57 in km 176.952 (passenger 6) and begins there. The whole subject-matter of the contract includes the performance of: 1) Design documentation necessary for the proper execution of all construction works and obtaining all the required opinions, arrangements, approvals, conditions, decisions and permits necessary for the performance of the subject matter of the contract; 2) All construction works according to the scope of the contract on the basis of the design documentation referred to in point (1), prepared by the Contractor and approved by the Employer, as well as all preparatory works necessary for the performance of the scope of the Agreement and any activities required by Law; 3) Conformity assessment of each structural subsystem covered by the contract at each stage (design, construction and final testing of the subsystem). The contract includes the design and execution of the track range, engineering and traffic control, as well as all sectors necessary for the proper performance of the task. The awarding entity shall pay particular attention to the fact that the whole subject of the contract should be performed in accordance with the Technical Standards.
