Use of renewable energy sources in the municipality of Dąbrowa Białostocka

Dąbrowa Białostocka commune intends to implement a project consisting of the construction of micro-installation of RES on residential buildings in the commune. The main objective of the project is to reduce greenhouse gas emissions through the construction of 166 micro-installations (solar collectors, photovoltaic panels) using renewable energy sources in individual farms in Dąbrowa Białostocka commune in 2019. The project will be implemented in 2018. As a result of the project, annual production of heat energy from newly built RES installations (solars) will be over 306 MWht, and the annual production of electricity from newly built installations using renewable energy (RES) will be greater than 306 MWht. The improvement of air quality will be achieved thanks to the avoided emissions of pollutants into the atmosphere as a result of the replacement of an energy source covering the needs of designated residential buildings in the municipality of Dąbrowa Białostocka. This project assumes an annual reduction in greenhouse gas emissions from the project of more than 185 tonnes of CO2 equivalent. The project will have a positive impact on the protection of the environment and human health, resulting in an ecological effect in the form of reductions: CO2, SO2, Nox, PM 2.5 and PM 10.
