This project concerns TYPU 1, i.e. Renewable energy (renewable energy: it’s sunny. The project’s applicant is the Municipality of Szczuczyn, and the target group of its inhabitants. The strategic goal of the project is to reduce greenhouse gas emissions and reduce emissions of dust in the atmosphere through the use of environmentally friendly energy sources, development of RES infrastructure in the municipality of Szczuczyn in the form of installation of photovoltaic panels and solar collectors on single-family buildings for their own needs. Direct objective of the project: improving the energy efficiency of the municipality of Szczuczyn by: ensuring energy security for residents, reducing electricity charges, reducing the consumption of electricity from conventional sources, reducing CO2 emissions, increasing the share of renewable energy sources in the municipal energy balance, raising citizens’ awareness of energy savings. The following result indicators will be achieved through the implementation of the project: 1. Production of electricity from newly built installations using RES 2. Production of heat from newly built RES installations The following product indicators will also be achieved: 1. Estimated annual decrease in greenhouse gas emissions 2. Number of built units of electricity generation from RES 3. Number of built units of heat generation from RES 4. Additional capacity to generate electricity from renewable sources 5.
