The project “Improving air quality in the municipality of Łapy by installing solar collectors and photovoltaic cells on residential buildings” is located in the municipality of Łapy, Białystok County, Podlaskie Voivodeship. The following installations will be installed within the project: solar collectors 17 pcs and photovoltaic cells – 41 units in total on 42 properties (including 19 locations in rural areas), with 16 properties installed on so-called hybrid installations, which include installation of solar collectors and photovoltaic cells. The installations will be on-grid. The energy generated will be used for the own use of the inhabitants. The aim of the project is to: Increased share of distributed renewable energy in buildings owned by natural persons – residents of Łapy Commune. The specific objectives of the project are as follows: CS1. Reducing greenhouse gas emissions from conventional energy. CS2. Protecting the environment by improving air quality and environmental safety. CS3. Raising awareness of the green society. CS4. Reducing the cost of buying conventional energy. The project’s material scope includes: —Programme Functional and Useful, -Development of the Feasibility Study and application for funding, -Installation work, -Investment supervision, -Promotion of the project. Measurable indicators in the project: —number of built-in units of heat generation from RES -17pieces – number of built-in units of electricity generation from RES -41pieces – estimated annual decrease in greenhouse gases -114.59 tonnes equal to CO2 – production of newly built/new generation capacity of renewable energy installations -43.78MWht/year – production of electricity from newly built/new generation capacity of renewable energy installations -130,20,20 Residents of Łapy commune, Łapy Municipality and tourists and visitors.
