The general objective of the Project is to improve the attractiveness of Michałowo Municipality as a place of residence and economic activity of residents by reducing the so-called low emissions of pollutants from the combustion of conventional fuels during the production of heat and electricity. The direct objective of the project is to increase the energy efficiency of the public utility facility – the Municipal School Complex in Michałów – through its thermomodernisation with the use of renewable energy sources The subject of the project is a deep thermal modernisation of the building of the Municipal School Complex in Michałów. The scope of the project includes: — thermal renovation of the building by warming the façade, roof and replacement of window and door carpentry – modernisation of central heating and hot water installations – replacing the existing gravity ventilation system with a ventilating and exhaust ventilation unit with a rotary exchanger and heat recovery from the exhaust air – construction of a photovoltaic power plant with a capacity of 20 kW – replacement of the existing traditional lighting for energy. The direct target group are employees and pupils of the School Complex (499 people), as well as residents of the Municipality, who in the long term will experience positive environmental effects associated with improving the energy efficiency of the facility.
