The subject of the project is the thermal modernisation of the Primary School with Polish and Lithuanian Teaching Language in Puńsk The aim of the project is to save heat energy through thermal modernisation of the Primary School with Polish and Lithuanian Teaching Language in Puńsk The realisation of the investment will contribute to achieving one of the main objectives of the ROP WP: sustainable growth, i.e. a transition to a low-carbon, resource-efficient and competitive economy. The project is part of the Priority Axis V: Low-carbon economy, which aims to improve energy efficiency in the public and housing sectors. The scope of the project includes the thermal modernisation of the building of the Primary School with Polish and Lithuanian Teaching Language in Puńsk, through improvements concerning the building’s body (warming of external walls above ground floors, replacement of old windows, exchange of luxpheres, warming of stropodach) and improvements concerning the heating system of the building (modernisation of the internal central heating system, modernisation of ventilation in cooperation with 5 kW photovoltaic installation). Thanks to the project, it will be possible to reduce emissions of greenhouse gases and other pollutants into the atmosphere, reduce heating costs, reduce the operating costs of public institutions and increase energy savings in public buildings. The target group will in particular be pupils and employees of the Primary School with Polish and Lithuanian Teaching Language in Puńsk and users of facilities, most often using public buildings. The group of indirect beneficiaries should also include the entire local community of the municipality of Puńsk, which will be able to use the facility.
