The subject of the project is a comprehensive modernisation in the scope of saving electricity, heat, water, together with the simultaneous use of RES installations in the extinguished Public High School No. 1 building at ul. Świętojańska 25 in Siemiatycze, which after additional adaptation work will be the seat of the Wojciech Kilar Music School in Siemiatycze. The aim of the project is to improve the energy efficiency of the public utility building, i.e. the school building. The scope of the project includes thermal modernisation through insulation of external walls, warming of stropodache, window replacement, replacement of external doors, installation of ventilation panels with heat recovery, air-water recirculation and heat pump, installation of structures for solar collectors and PV panels supporting hot water heating, replacement of hot water boiler with gas burner, pump systems and central heating systems with radiators. In addition, the project assumes the modernisation of the lighting and the installation of the energy management system, which will reduce its consumption in the facility. The project is included in the strategy of the energy cluster listed in Annex 1b to the Territorial Contract for Podlaskie Voivodship i.e. The Siemiatycki Energy Cluster. Thanks to the project, it will be possible to reduce greenhouse gas emissions (% change in CO2 emissions of 53.8 %), reduction of heating and electricity costs will reduce the operating costs of public institutions and increase energy savings in the public building (quantity of electricity saved 91.63 MWh/year, heat 827 GJ/year). The project will improve energy efficiency by 50.91 %. The target group will in particular be students and employees of the School of Music in Siemiatycze and other users of the facility. The group of indirect beneficiaries should also include the entire local community, which will be able to use the facility.
