“Termomodernisation of public utility buildings and municipal building in the city of Łomża (Special Schools Team – M. Skłodowska Curie 5, Public Kindergarten No 9, Kamienica Wojska Polskiego 15/17)”

The subject of the project is the modernisation of 3 public buildings, including the Special Schools Complex in Łomża Street. M. Skłodowska Curie, Public Kindergarten No. 9, tenement house at ul. Polish Army 15/17. The project will carry out thermo-modernisation and renovation works together with necessary reconstructions. The main objective of the project is to try to reduce harmful emissions in Lomza by aiming to reduce the demand of the energy facilities concerned (approximately 68.17 %). The objectives of the detail will be: increasing energy efficiency through a deep comprehensive modernisation of energy, which will reduce primary energy consumption by 1331383.28 kWh/year and reduce the maintenance costs of buildings by PLN 233 504.88/year. There will be a reduction in the emissions of pollutants harmful to the environment generated by the buildings concerned, by a total of 409.94 MgCO2/year and the comfort of use of the facilities will be increased. The project will be addressed to residents of Łomża, including sub-area No. 1, which is the city centre, designated as part of the Local Programme for the Revitalisation of the City of Łomża for the years 2017-2023, pupils and parents, and employees of the Special Schools Team at ul. M. Skłodowska Curie 5, children and parents and employees of Public Preschool No. 9, users of the tenement house located at ul. Polish Army 15/17. The thermal modernisation of buildings will include a number of technical improvements to reduce energy consumption in general, which will reduce the costs of using the above mentioned facilities, as well as improve the comfort of use by eliminating risks to the health and life of users. The project will not generate operating revenue and no fees arising directly from the project will be collected. Total project costs: 8 383 573.03PLN, eligible expenditure: 5 372 935,39 PLN (including VAT: PLN 706 502.93), 85 % co-financing: 4 566 995,01 PLN.
