The project “Creating a transfer centre in Łapach (train station and PKS area)” concerns the creation of a transfer centre in Łapay and includes land development in the area of: hardening of manoeuvring areas for buses, access roads, parking areas for passenger vehicles, sidewalks, land lighting, alterations of conflicting installations, installation under construction site, construction of bus stops and worlds for bicycles, creation of green areas with waiting places for children in this playground, etc. The following tasks will be carried out within the project: — works in the road industry – construction of sanitary network – works in the electrical sector – equipment and land order – renovation and thermomodern. Station (performed) The main objective of the project is to increase the mobility of residents of the Białystok Functional Area (BOF) and to develop low-carbon public public transport and bicycle transport to support BOF residents. Specific objectives of the project: — the creation of the Interchange Centre in Łapach through the development of the site of the former railway and bus station – integrating and creating conditions for the functioning of complementary modes of transport (rail and road transport) – creating an intermodal passenger passenger terminal for public transport in Łapach – guaranteeing parking spaces for passenger cars and bicycles using the terminal in the bike convention and the park. Project indicators: — Number of integrated interchange nodes (1 pcs) – Number of parking stations built in "bike&ride“(48 pcs) – Number of parking spaces built in”Park&ride" (78 pcs) – Estimated annual decrease in greenhouse gas emissions (928 tonnes CO2 equivalent) – Number of cars using parking spaces in built buildings "park and drive" (10 625 people will be the target of the municipality)
