The sewage treatment plant is located on the outskirts of Stawiski City, near the river, on the geod no. 567/2, adjacent to the drainage ditch R-C, which has an estuary to the Dzierzba river in km 10 + 510. The direct receiver of the sewage is the drainage ditch R-C, which has an estuary to the river Dzierzba at a distance of 95 m from the site of discharge of waste water from the treatment plant. The treatment plant serves mainly the city, the number of sewage transported from the municipality is small and does not exceed approx. 8 m³/d. On the basis of previous operational experience and the current level of knowledge in waste water treatment plant technology and the requirements for treated waste water, the following main direction of development and modernisation of the sewage treatment plant and its individual facilities is assumed: a) adapting the basic technological process for biological waste water treatment to the parameters enabling the treatment of target pollutant loads to the extent required by building a new bioreactor b) modernising the existing sludge drainage building with function c) upgrading existing chambers: defosphatation and aeration of the first degree d) construction of a new technological building together with a mechanical cleaning node and a blower station e) construction of the main pumping room (f) construction of the garage and storage shed g) construction of the administrative and office building of the pumping room together with the dispatcher h) reconstruction and modernisation of electrical installations and ACPA and) modernisation of sediment lagoons j) modernisation of the sediment lagoon (j)
