The subject of the project is the construction of a new building in the School Complex No. 6 (workshop for practical training) implemented as an addition to the existing school complex. As part of the project, the new workshop building plans to create 11 workshops for 5 occupations existing in ZS No. 6 related to key specialisations of the Podlaskie voivodship (motor vehicle technician, electromechanical vehicle mechanics, mechanics of wood technology, wood carpenter) and 3 new professions (mechanical engineer, metalworker, mechanic operator of wood production machines). There will be 11 workshops similar to the actual working environment, which will be used by 88 pupils and 8 in each workshop: p. manual metalworking, p. mechanical machining of metals, p. electromechanics of motor vehicles, 3 repair studios of motor vehicles 1., 2., 3., inspection station of motor vehicles with educational and technical facilities, p. working with manual tools, p. woodworking and wood materials, p. auxiliary work (glue shop and paint shop), p. laboratory tests (laboratory and 2 warehouses). The main aim of the project is to adapt the offer of vocational training to the needs of the regional and local labour market, as well as to improve the situation of graduates of the Social Insurance Institution No. 6 on the regional and local labour market by investing in vocational training infrastructure in Suwałki School Complex, which will extend the technical and educational base, which will serve to perfect professional training and practical training in the development directions of Podlasie, as well as equipping built workshops and workshops with appropriate professional equipment and tools for the development of Podlasie. The budget of the project: 7 906 592,02 PLN The amount of ERDF co-financing: 6 262 242,30 PLN Period of implementation of the project: from 14.11.2018 to 30.06.2020 (actual implementation of the project).
