The main objective of the project is to improve the efficiency and availability of specialised medical services in the field of skeletal-muscular and cardiovascular diseases at the General Hospital in Kolno. The project plans to: — overhaul of the General Surgery Division with the Orthopedics and Traumatology Department of Traumatic Movement, – renovation of the post-operative room of the General Surgery Division, – purchase of modern equipment for the needs of the Branch and the post-operative room. As a result of the project, the following output and result indicators will be achieved: — Number of supported medicinal entities – 1 pcs. — Investment outlays on the purchase of medical equipment – PLN 2 376 037.49 – Number of facilities tailored to the needs of people with disabilities – 1 pieces. — Population covered by improved health services – 1 086 people The main beneficiary of the project will be the General Hospital in Kolno. The indirect beneficiaries of the project are residents of Kolne County and neighbouring powiats, who will benefit from health services at the General Hospital in Kolno. The total cost of the investment will be PLN 3 809 547.56 gross, while the eligible costs amount to PLN 2 667 899.40. The value of the ERDF co-financing represents 84.99 % of the eligible costs of the project, i.e. PLN 2 267 714.44.
