The project plans to build and equip the Center for Children and Youth Psychiatry at the L. Zamenhof Children’s Hospital in Białystok (UDSK). The beneficiary of the project is the Medical University of Bialystok (UMB) and the UDSK user. UMB is the organ of the UDSK. The main objective of the project is to improve the quality and availability of medical services Applicant (user) in the field of psychiatry of children and adolescents. Target group: children and young people from Podlasie voivodship. The project is part of the project concerning the creation of the USK and UDSK Psychiatry Centre, which assumes the construction of a 4-story facility (including three ground floors and one underground floor), with a total area of 5080 m² and the cost of the investment approx. 40 million zlotys. The investment programme assumes the implementation of the task within 3 years, in the years 2019-2022, financed by the state budget and the European Union. As part of the project, a halfway house will be built for the Department of Psychiatry of Children and Youth UDSK (i.e. 1.5 floors of ground and 0.5 floors underground) and the USK Psychiatry Clinic (i.e. 1.5 terrestrial floors and 0.5 underground floors). As part of the UDSK project, the following are to be located on the above-ground floors: — Clinic of Psychiatry of Children and Youth UDSK – Department of Daily Psychiatric Care UDSK, – Psychiatric Clinic UDSK, – SOR and Board of Planning Admissions, – Consultative Chamber. In the underground floor it is planned to locate archives, lockers and technical rooms. The project will provide a full range of medical services in the field of psychiatry, including round-the-clock stays of patients. The project indicators shall be: Number of supported medicinal entities – 1 pcs. Number of facilities adapted to the needs of people with disabilities – 1 pcs.
