Revitalisation of urban parks in Dąbrowa Bialystok at Kosciuszko Square

Within the framework of the partnership project implemented by the leader: Dąbrowa Białostocka commune and partner: The GAMA Foundation will revitalise two urban parks on a small scale at Plac T. Kościuszki in Dąbrowa Białostocka. It is planned to: — dismantling existing paths and elements of small architecture, transfer of monuments; — tree cutting, removal of shrubs, exaggeration; — construction of the hardening of footpaths, creation of memorials and meeting places – stage; — reconstruction of the park’s lighting; — the construction of the fountain, the construction and assembly of the urban scarlet; — installation of small architecture elements; — the device with low green planting; — construction of water supply connection and sanitary sewage system. The project is a response to diagnosed social, environmental, economic, spatial-functional and technical problems characterised by the diagnosis of a degraded and revitalised area. The project is part of the so-called small revitalisation framework, which will improve the quality of life of residents through better organisation of public space for social, cultural and recreational purposes. Revitalisation of parks for community purposes will not only significantly increase the safety of the entire area, but will also improve the overall aesthetics of the area located within the historic urban layout of the city included in the register of monuments of Podlasie voivodship. The total value of the project is over PLN 1.1 million, of which 63.20 % is financed by RPOWP funds. The project will be implemented in 2018.
