The subject of the investment is the reconstruction of the multifunctional pitch at the Primary School No. 1 ks. Wacław Rabczyński in Wasilków (before education reform: High school, Fr. Wacława Rabczyńskiego in Wasilków) at ul. Mickiewicza 2 for parts of plots 2564/2 and 2543 (ul. Białostocka) along with ground lighting installation of the terrain, dehydration of pitches and connection of rainwater drainage. The project is addressed to the local community living in the LSR area of the Knyszyńska Forest LAG. The project is a response to diagnosed social, environmental, economic, spatial-functional and technical problems characterised by the diagnosis of a degraded and revitalised area. The project is part of the so-called small revitalisation framework, which will improve the quality of life of residents through better organisation of public space for social, cultural and sports and recreational purposes. Revitalising the market for the purpose of the community and the creation of a multifunctional field will not only significantly improve the safety of the entire area, but will also improve the overall aesthetics of the area and make the public area accessible to residents of the city and the municipality of Wasilków. Investment activities in this area will increase the tourist attractiveness of the area, but above all will serve the inhabitants of the Knyszyńska Forest LAG area, including groups particularly important for LSR, young people, the elderly, as well as those at risk of social exclusion. The designed pitch will be fully accessible to people with disabilities. Access for wheelchair users to the field is ensured by the layout of the pavement and the terrain. The planned project is in accordance with the Local Programme of revitalisation of the Wasilków Municipality for the years 2017-2023. The total value of the project exceeds PLN 1 million, of which 55.55 % is financed by RPOWP. The project will be implemented in 2019.
