The main objective of the project is to achieve 3.71 MW additional capacity to generate electricity and heat from renewable sources. In order to meet this goal, it is planned to purchase photovoltaic installations, air heat pumps with hot water containers and biomass boilers. Installed RES installations will reduce the consumption of non-renewable energy sources.The emissions of harmful substances will be reduced, which will result in improved air quality in the region. The implementation of the project will contribute to meeting the objectives of the Europe 2020 Strategy. The document sets targets for the EU, including the climate and energy objective “20/20/20”. This investment will contribute to the achievement of this objective, as there will be an increase in the production of renewable energy sources The project is intended to purchase and assemble renewable energy installations in municipalities covered by the project: the communes of Grębów, Jasienica Rosielna, Majdan Royal, Markowa, Niwiska, Ostrów and Sędziszów Małopolska. 890 photovoltaic installations, 30 biomass boilers and 83 air heat pumps will be installed.
