The main objective of the project is to obtain 106.7 MWh of additional electricity production and 183.35 MWh of additional production of heat from renewable sources. In order to meet this goal, it is planned to purchase and install three photovoltaic installations with a total capacity of 0,11 MW. The sewage treatment plant in Załużc has been designed with a power of 33.9 kW, and for the water treatment station in Wólka Krowicka and Mokrzyca two installations with a power of 39.9 kW each will be installed. In addition, two biomass boilers with a power of 40 kW each will be installed: in the OSP Krowica Holodowska and in the sewage treatment plant in Horyniec Zdrój (total power of 0,08 MW). Companies and TSOs consume significant amounts of electricity, which translates into high energy charges. The implementation of the project will reduce these costs. Another advantage will be a significant decoupling of external energy suppliers. If the network fails, it will not be necessary to stop the treatment of water and waste water. The implementation of the project will contribute to meeting the requirements of the Climate Package – the production of electricity and heat from renewable sources will increase. The subject of the project is the purchase and assembly of renewable energy installations in municipalities covered by the project: Lubaczów i Horyniec – Zdrój. Three photovoltaic installations with a total capacity of 0.11 MW and two biomass boilers with a capacity of 40 kW each will be installed.
