Comprehensive thermal modernisation of MOSIR facilities

The main objective of the project is to improve air quality in the City of Stalowa Wola by improving energy efficiency and reducing pollutant emissions. Specific objectives: • Improving the energy efficiency of energy consumption in public buildings, which will contribute to reducing overall energy consumption, • Reducing greenhouse gas emissions and other pollutants as a result of reducing the consumption of electricity and heat, • Increasing the comfort of use of objects, • Use of renewable energy sources. The objectives of the project are consistent with the adopted policy of the State and the European Union, and the planned activities result from an analysis of the needs of modernisation of the existing MOSiR building carried out in the energy audit. The project involves carrying out a deep thermal modernisation of the Municipal Sports and Recreation Centre building by using the following solutions: • warming of walls, foundations, ceilings, • replacement of window carpentry, • modernisation of the ventilation system by carrying out a mechanical ventilation system by ventilating ventilation system with extraction of heat from exhaust air – recuperation in the VAV system and recovery of latent heat, • modernisation of the electrical power system by installation of solar collectors with a power of 417.6 kW, • modernisation of heating system, • replacement of sources of light for energy The project also responds to the needs of people with disabilities by switching the light source to energy-saving and applying lighting control via a management system and motion or presence sensors. The implementation of the investment will result in an EP ratio of 113 kWh/m² and a reduction in the computational energy demand by 65.13 % and a reduction of CO2 by 6
