The aim of the project is to minimise energy losses occurring on heat transfers, as well as to reduce greenhouse gas emissions as a result of the conversion of the old canal network on the housing estate into a new two-tube network pre-insulated with connections and heat exchangers. The total length of the thermal grid upgraded within the project is 828 mb, of which the main network is: 496 mb network of connections to buildings: It’s 332 mb. The buildings will produce heating nodes with new dual-function heat exchangers in the amount of 7 units. The project assumes that 516.85 GJ of energy will be saved per year and CO2 emissions will be reduced at the level of 29 tonnes/year.
