The subject of the investment is the construction and extension of the sewage treatment plant building in Laszki and the construction of sanitary sewage system in Tuchla. The current infrastructure in the area of implementation of the project does not meet the expectations of its stakeholders. As a result of the project, there will be:• 9.37 km of sanitary gravitational and pressing sewage system;• extended sewage treatment plant with capacity of 700 m³/d (4000 RLM).The project is implemented by the Laszki Commune located in eastern Poland in the Podkarpackie Voivodeship, in the Jaroslawski district on the territory of the Laszka agglomeration. The direct beneficiary of the project will be the municipality of Laszki, and indirectly the inhabitants of the municipality.The strategic objective of the project is to improve the quality and prevent environmental degradation of Laszka’s agglomeration by extending and constructing a sewage treatment plant in Laszki and building sanitary sewage in Tuchla, in order to reduce pollution of water and soil and protect natural ecosystems. The main objective will be pursued through the following specific objectives:• to increase the level of channelling of the Lasca agglomeration by increasing the number of entities connected to the sanitary sewerage network: the number of households by 50, including the number of public entities by 1;• extension of the sanitary sewage treatment plant serving the agglomeration area;• reduction of environmental pollution by uncontrolled and illegal discharge of waste water;• reduction in the availability and quality of municipal infrastructure and in relation to urban areas;• improvement of the state of the sewage and sewage infrastructure in the Laska agglomeration;• improvement of the standard of living and quality of life; • Increasing the economic and tourist attractiveness of the commune of Laszki.From the social point of view, there will be a significant improvement in the social and economic level of the commune and the state of the environment.
