Better transport accessibility in road traffic within the Municipality of Stalowa Wola by creating a non-collid access to the railway passenger station located in the TEN-T network

The main objective of the project is to create a non-collid access to the railway station Stalowa Wola located in the TEN-T network by rebuilding the municipal road ul. Solidarity No. G101037R and construction of a road link within ul. Solidarity, from ul. Grabski to ul. It’s the energetics. The specific objectives are:- to ensure better transport accessibility in road traffic within the Municipality of Stalowa Wola;- to improve safety in road and rail traffic thanks to the construction of a non-collid intersection with the railway line and infrastructure for pedestrians and cyclists;- Improving the flow of passage, reducing emissions of pollutants and noise. V Priority Axis RPO WP 2014-2020, which was defined as “better transport accessibility of the voivodship in road traffic”.The object of the project is the construction of the municipal road in Stalowa Wola with a length of 344.09 m and the reconstruction of the municipal road on a total section of 1016.81 m with the reconstruction of one junction existing into a turbine roundabout and construction of 2 new roundabouts and 2 viaducts: this will create a homogeneous road transport network in the form of a street. Solidarity, communal road Z, running from national road No. 77 to Stalowa Wola railway station with uncollid crossing under the railway tracks. This will solve the most important communication problem in Stalowa Wola, which is the poor communication of areas lying on the eastern and western sides of the railway tracks.The owner and manager of this road is the Municipality of Stalowa Wola. The project contributes to increasing road safety through the following solutions:• construction of a circular junction,• construction of central asylum at the intersection,• separation of space for light traffic, including the construction of pavement, bicycle path and paved side,• installation of protective barriers along the edge of the road, • optical narrowing of the roadway and sideways.
