The primary objective of the project is to improve the efficiency of the use of collective transport in the Municipal Functional Area of Sanok-Lesko. The main specific objectives are: reduce passenger travel time, reduce congestion for public transport, improve travel comfort, reduce congestion and use outside peak hours, increase the importance of public transport, increase the integration of different modes of transport and improve the quality of the environment by reducing low emissions in the functional area. The scope of the project will be implemented in three municipalities from the area of MOF Sanok-Lesko, which will carry out the following project tasks: Municipality of Sanoka City (Partner Leader): construction of a multimodal station allowing for convenient replacement of means of transport, the purchase of low-emission transport rolling stock in the form of 5 diesel buses complying with the emission standard EURO 6, as well as 6 hybrid buses, purchase of land for the construction of the station. The municipality of Zagórz (Partner No 1) will complete the construction of a parking lot and drive to change the individual mode of transport to a collective one, as well as rebuild the commune road leading to the bus loop in the commune. The municipality of Sanok (Partner No. 2) will re-build public transport infrastructure in the form of the construction of pavements and the replacement of the stop in Czerteż and the renovation of the stop on the Voivodeship Road No. 886 and will also repair the stop in the town of Sanoczek. These investments are part of the reconstruction of the bus line serving Sanok Municipality.
