The project concerns the reconstruction of degraded buildings in the area of MOF Mielec in order to give them new social and educational functions, including: reconstruction of part of the ground floor of the building at 13 Mickiewicza Street and creation of premises for reintegration activities in socio-professional aspect, reconstruction of the District Starostwo building for the needs of the Psychological and Pedagogical Clinic, and revitalisation of the public space area in the form of a park by transforming it into a sensory park and giving it new functions, as well as the reconstruction of the bus bay into two parking stations in order to increase accessibility of revitalised facilities. The project consists of investment tasks resulting from the Local Revitalisation Programme for the City of Mielec for the years 2016-2023.The aim of the project is to reduce existing problems in areas degraded by rebuilding and equipping facilities necessary to implement projects of a social nature. Together with the main objective, the implementation of the project assumes the implementation of specific objectives relating to increasing socio-occupational activation of Mielec residents, taking measures aimed at countering social exclusion, improving the aesthetics and development of public spaces in the city, as well as developing social infrastructure and increasing accessibility to it. As a result of the project, all products will be adapted to people with disabilities. The target group of the Project is all residents of the city of Mielec and Mielec County, in particular children, young people, people with disabilities and social exclusion, people who have problems finding themselves in today’s reality, including the labour market (including in particular residents of protected dwellings, other participants of the NIS and other forms of socio-occupational integration, which will take place in the part of the building on ul.
