The aim and main result of the project is to reduce social problems in the degraded areas of the municipalities of Tarnobrzeg, Nowa Dęba, Baranów Sandomierski and Gorzyce by restoring or giving new social, economic, recreational and tourist functions to infrastructure covered by the proposal. Tarnobrzeg commune plans to develop areas on Tarnobrzeg Lake degraded after the sulfur industry for recreational, economic and tourist purposes. Nowa Dęba commune plans to rebuild the residential building after metalworks for social and economic purposes, Baranów Sandomierski expansion and reconstruction of the sports hall for recreational, social and educational purposes, Gorzyce ordering and developing degraded space, while the parish in Chmielów provides for the reconstruction/refurbishment of the rectory premises for the creation of a common room for the needs of the inhabitants of the region. A well-prepared infrastructure will serve the objectives of social inclusion and the fight against poverty and will increase job opportunities. The material scope of the proposal is part of the comprehensive revitalisation of degraded areas aimed at social inclusion, improving the quality of life of residents and the economic recovery of the Tarnobrzeg Functional Area. The implementation of the material scope will improve social and territorial cohesion in socially degraded areas and increase the opportunity for comprehensive local development. The products of the project will be among others. : revitalised areas with an area of 2.95 ha, created business area (499.61 m²), public safety improvement system, 95 pieces of equipment and equipment purchased, 705,55 m² of buildings supported by the project. The number of people living in revitalised areas is 5 625.
