Improvement of the quality of education at the Primary School in Glinik Gm. Wielopole Skrzyńskie by building a gym, retrofitting school workshops, and improving the energy of the complex.

Main objective of the project: — improving the quality of education at the Primary School in Glinik by carrying out a process of expansion and retrofitting in 2015-2017 of the school complex. Specific objectives of the project: — improving the conditions of education in the field of physical education of 170 pupils in Glinik and Broniszów through the construction of a gymnasium, – improving the quality of teaching at the Glinik Primary School in the field of computer science, mathematics and nature by equipping modern equipment and teaching materials – improving the energy efficiency of the primary school complex in Glinik by modernising the heating and lighting system. Brief description of the project: The project concerns the expansion of the school complex and the equipment of the laboratory for primary education at the Primary School in Glinik, ed. Wielopole Skrzyńskie. The scope of work shall include: • construction of a gym at the Primary School in Glinik with a usable area of 494.88 m² and a cubic volume of 2595.67 m³, • retrofitting with teaching aids and ICT equipment of an IT and mathematical and natural laboratory with a total number of 88pieces, • installation of photovoltaics on the school building combined with modernisation of indoor lighting in the school and modernisation of the heating furnace in the existing part of the school, which is an element of the cascade mechanism of the existing heating. The infrastructure is directly linked to the educational objectives of the school. The implementation of the project is sustainable by minimising environmental impacts while offering technical and technological solutions that take into account the sustainability and resilience of climate change. Elements for improving energy efficiency are planned: photovoltaic panels, modernisation of the heating boiler and replacement of lighting in the existing school building. The infrastructure covered by the project will not restrict access to resources and is designed in accordance with the universal design principle.
