The project includes activities aimed at the development of education in Stępin’s John Paul II School Complex. The scope of the project will include the expansion of the gym and its connection with the existing link building and the creation of a renewable energy laboratory in the natural laboratory. Taking into account the Regional Operational Programme for Podkarpackie Region 2014-2020 Objective 3 of the Investment Priority (PI10): Investing in education, training and vocational training for skills and lifelong learning through the development of education and training infrastructure: “Better conditions of general education supporting key skills”, the general objective of the project entitled “Development of education in the John Paul II School Complex in Stępin by expanding the gym and the creation of a laboratory of renewable energy sources in the natural laboratory” which reads: “Creating a sustainable and modern educational facility enabling equal access for children and young people to high-quality educational offer”. The specific objectives shall be: 1. Ensuring the right standard of conducting sports activities in the School Complex in Stępin to develop the potential of children and young people. 2. Improving the quality of the educational services provided, by modernising and developing the teaching infrastructure and equipping the natural laboratory with the necessary teaching materials and computer equipment. 3. Permanent introduction of new technologies into educational tools. 4. Targeting changes in education to achieve the status of an information society – a society operating in the realities of the knowledge economy. 5. Increasing the attractiveness of the municipality as a place of residence and work.
