Rainbow kindergarten – dissemination of pre-school education in Kościerzyn

The project is addressed to 150 children in preschool age 3-6 years attending the school year 2016/2017 to kindergarten no.7(P7) in Kościerzyn under the governing body – Municipal Municipality Kościerzyna (GMK), 15 teachers of preschool education, 50 legal guardians. Objective of the project: increase by 150 number of permanent preschool places in the city, assuming that their durability is maintained over a period of at least 2 years. Specific objectives: adapting P7 to the adoption of new children, increasing key competences and mitigating identified development deficits of children, enhancing teachers’ competences in developing key competences and mitigating development deficits in children, developing good practices, enhancing the competences of key legal guardians. In order to determine the number necessary for the creation of new kindergarten places, the needs of the PLO and design activities, a diagnosis, adopted by the Mayor of Kościerzyn, No. 0050.52.2016 of 12.04.2016, was prepared. The applicant shall declare the following actions to be carried out in accordance with the diagnosis and Zał. 11 to the Rules of Procedure: creation of additional 150 preschool places in P7 with adaptation of the facility to accommodate children (e.g. kitchen renovation, purchase of necessary equipment and teaching aids), additional activities to equal the educational opportunities of children with special educational needs and developing key competences, courses developing key competences of teachers and legal guardians, network of cooperation and self-education of teachers. The effect of the project: creation of 150 permanent preschool places and improving the quality of pre-school education in P7. The project implements the “Strategy for the Development of Education in the City of Kościerzyna for the years 2011-2020” (Resolution No XX/145/11 of the City Council of Kościerzyna): operational objective 5.1Add the network of educational establishments and school circuits to demographic changes and real needs, operational objective 1.1Improving the level of education.
