The support under sub-measure 3.2.2, type of project 2, is addressed to students from the Pomeranian Voivodeship, particularly talented in the field of natural sciences, IT, foreign languages, mathematics or entrepreneurship continuing their education in the school year in which the scholarship will be paid. The project will be attended by students who are particularly talented in mathematics, natural science, IT or foreign languages in financial difficulties, in accordance with the SCOOP RPO WP 2014-2020. The support will not include adult schools. The recipients of the support will be pupils showing high educational outcomes and achievements in the Olympics and competitions. The additional criterion will take into account, inter alia, the socio-economic situation of the student. Detailed rules for the provision of support under the project will be laid down in the Aid Regulations, taking into account changes in the education system. During the project, a total of 800 scholarships (400 scholarships for the period of 12 months of the 2017/2018 school year and 400 scholarships for the 12nd school year 2018/2019) will be awarded to pupils and pupils who receive the highest score on the basis of their results and achievements. The student can be a scholarship holder in both the school year 2017/2018 and 2018/2019. The supported pupils will implement an individual education plan (IPEU), which will contribute to the development of the competences of key scholarship holders. When receiving the scholarship, the student will be subject to the teaching care of a teacher, a school teacher or a professional adviser employed in the student’s school. At the same time, the project plans to support at least 50 teachers, who will gain competence in diagnosing skills and working with highly gifted students. The implementation of the project is part of the strategic project of the Pomeranian Voivodeship “Pomeranian Skills” referred to in the RPS AP.
