The main objective of the project is to increase the employability of vocational education graduates in the Wejherowski County by increasing the quality of vocational education. The main objective will be achieved through specific objectives: strengthening the attractiveness of vocational schools, adapting the professional competences of teachers to the requirements of a dynamically changing labour market; increase and structure the cooperation of vocational schools with employers and universities. The project is addressed to 1831 students, 52 teachers and 2 practical training instructors in 8 schools. The scope of direct-cost activities includes raising the professional skills and qualifications of pupils, teachers and instructors: ICT and electronics and Energy and Eco-Energy in PZS No. 2 in W-wa; industry Tourism, sport and recreation in PZS No. 3 in W-wa; transport, logistics and automotive industry in PZS No. 4 in W-wa (motorisation) and in PZS No. 2 in Rumi (transport and logistics); health and silver economy in PZSP in W-wa; and: Organisation of an educational-professional advisory network. As part of indirect costs, management and promotion tasks will be carried out. In addition, the fate of graduates will be systematically examined. All planned actions, covered in this area, are interlinked and complementary. The project is integrated with the Project implemented under Measure 4.1 of the ROP of the WP within the framework of the strategic project – Shaping of a network of higher secondary vocational schools which takes into account the needs of subregional and regional labour market in accordance with the Resolution of the Management Board of Woj. Pom. No 547/146/16 of 2.06.2016r. The project will contribute to increasing the employability and chances of graduates of district vocational schools, professional careers and quality of life and adapting the education offer to the needs of employers, the labour market and the economy.
