The aim of the project is to increase the level of employability of school graduates in the Starogard district and to increase the quality of education, including through better adaptation of the forms, methods and conditions of its conduct to the requirements of the economy and the labour market.The actions envisaged for implementation in the project were planned on the basis of a diagnosis of needs approved by the Board of Directors of the Starogardzki District on 07.06.2016 (Management Resolution 55/322/2016).The project is integrated with the project composed under Measure 4.1. “Creating a network of higher secondary vocational schools that takes into account the needs of subregional and regional labour markets (according to the Regional Strategic Programme "Active Pomerania" (Management Resolution No 547/146/16).The project is addressed to 1000 students (310K/690M) and 36 teachers (9K/27M) with: The School of Economics in Starogard Gd., the Vocational Schools Complex in Starogard Gd.(Public School of Vocational Schools+Techniques), Technical in Owidz and CKP Agricultural Schools in Bolesławów, from 4 industries: ICT and electronics, environment, transport, logistics and automotive as well as furniture. The project will include the following forms of support: internships and internships for 1000 pupils/schools, courses and trainings, trips to universities, vocational advice addressed to 1000 pupils in the above-mentioned schools, postgraduate studies and training courses and training for teachers. In addition, teachers of each of the schools designated for the Strategic Undertaking will take part in internships with employers and establish permanent cooperation with specialist centres in each sector. The result of the project (permanence) will be to equip the student with the necessary skills in the labour market, broaden his professional prospects and increase the professional skills of teachers in the implementation of the teaching process.
