The project is addressed to at least 1850 pupils of Pomeranian schools or educational establishments conducting vocational training (vocational schools) with a predisposition in the field of vocational subjects corresponding to the sectors with the largest potential development of the region (key industries) and participating in the Intelligent Specialisations of Pomerania (ISP) and at least 100 vocational training teachers and practical training instructors. The project’s stakeholders are employers/businesses. The main objective of the project is to improve the quality of vocational training in the Pomeranian Voivodeship. The main objective will be achieved, inter alia, on the basis of the following specific objectives: 1) increasing the chances of school pupils to succeed in the labour market by strengthening their professional competences in those professions that correspond to key industries and are in line with PSI, 2) strengthening vocational schools. in carrying out activities aimed at adapting the educational offer to the requirements of labour markets by adapting the professional competences of professional school teachers. Key forms of cooperation: 1) dedicated to school pupils: — apprenticeships/internships with employers/subjects, – scholarship support, – visits to employers/business and universities, – competitions in professional subjects., – courses enabling the acquisition of additional qualifications and professional skills. – vocational training camps aimed at the development of competences and professional skills. 2) dedicated to professional education teachers and PNZ instructors: — training and courses in the field of: involving employers in the vocational training process in schools; improving the quality of school work in the context of vocational education and adapting the school’s offer to the needs of the labour market. The implementation of the project is part of the strategic project of the Voivodeship Local Government.
