The aim of the planned activities is to create places to provide community services in the city of Słupsk and ensure their sustainability after completion of the project. Planned actions will put man and his needs at the centre of their interactions. Słupsk faces demographic challenges in terms of an ageing population and negative natural growth, hence the need for special support for seniors, dependants and families with children. The planned actions will be implemented in an integrated way, in the local community, in accordance with the principle of deinstitutionalisation, will complement, and sometimes develop, activities planned for the inhabitants of the revitalised area and will allow the provision of social services of similar standard throughout the city. The project will cover four main projects: 1. the development of care services. and specialists provided in the place of residence; 2. creation of 2 assisted dwellings providing -hour care services for dependants and unable to function independently in the environment; 3. the development and dissemination of tele-care, together with the necessary accompanying infrastructure and the creation of a Local Coordinating Point, providing personal support to seniors and OZN, including the use of assistants for persons with disabilities; 4. the development of services supporting the family in proper functioning by providing specialised support to psychologists and educators using various forms and methods. The actions undertaken will contribute to raising the standard of living of seniors and OZN, their independence will be extended or increased and they will be able to function in the place of residence, and the need to stay in dps will be postponed or eliminated. Actions aimed at families will contribute to raising the level of education of caregivers, will be preventive and will reduce the number of children sent to foster care.
