Improving the availability of high-quality specialised health services for the treatment of civilisation diseases for inhabitants of Pomerania through the extension of the St. Wojciecha in Gdańsk

The planned project concerns improving accessibility and quality for comprehensive and highly specialised health services in the region, through the necessary extension of the three-storey wing of the St. Wojciecha in Gdańsk at al John Paul 50 in Gdańsk belonging to Copernicus Podmiot Medniczy Sp. z o.o. o. The ground floor level is two hospital wards – urological 29 beds, trauma and orthopaedic ward 39 beds with medical equipment. The floor comprises the creation of an equipped operating unit – 8 operating rooms, including a hybrid. The estimated number of operational operations in the period 2020-2034 in the developed infrastructure is 140,982. It is expected that 92 397 (more than 65 %) treatments will concern civilisational diseases. The total area for expansion of the hospital is 6588.90 m². The project also provides for training of medical staff (55 people), the use of new treatments, development of volunteering and cooperation with – Voivodeship Hospitals in Gdynia.
