The project concerns improving accessibility and quality to comprehensive and highly specialised services in the field of therapy and diagnosis of civilisation diseases through the necessary extension and retrofitting of Voivodeship Hospitals in Gdynia. The task envisages the creation of a new operating unit with 4 halls, a new Department of Anaesthesiology and Intensive Care and construction works in accompanying infrastructure. The area of expansion of the 4th floor building is approx. 4979 m² and 1372 m². The project includes the purchase of specialised medical equipment for hospital wards: Oncology and Teleradiotherapy, Urology, Trauma – Orthopaedic Surgery, Patomorphology, Mammography and Endoscopy. Planned purchases include magnetic resonance imaging, CT scanner. The project provides for the creation of specialist clinics, i.e. orthopaedics and traumatology of motor organs, cardiology, vascular diseases, neurology, urology and diabetics with an area of 750 m².
