The project will be implemented in the years 2016-2018 in the Pomeranian Voivodship in 21 buildings owned by the Pomeranian Voivodeship. The aim of the project is to improve energy efficiency and reduce emissions of pollutants into the air in public buildings through the implementation of thermomodernisation measures, i.e. the execution (where appropriate) of insulation of external walls, roof warming and stropodache, window replacement, modernisation of heating installations and hot water preparation, ventilation and air conditioning systems, as well as the elimination of low-performance energy sources and their replacement with high-efficiency sources on energy efficiency defined by the Energy Directives. In addition, where justified, renewable energy sources – mainly solar energy sources – are planned to be used for electricity generation and hot water preparation and biomass for heating purposes in two facilities. The implementation of the project will also allow fulfilment of the obligations imposed on IU in the scope of the implementation of savings measures and the leading role of local government units in pursuit of the national energy efficiency target (Act of 15.04.2011 on Energy Efficiency).
