Low-energy public buildings in Tychy – thermal modernisation with modernisation of ZS 1, ZS 5, ZS 6, ZS 7, II LO, SP 1, P 10, P 11, P 12, P 17, P 26

The project involves energy modernisation of 11 public utility buildings – 5 kindergartens and 6 schools, characterised by the greatest losses of heat and energy. Thermo-modernisation is comprehensive and includes all improvements indicated in energy audits, including in particular: warming of external walls, stropodache, foundations, replacement of carpentry, modernisation of the lighting network and luminaires, modernisation of the central heating system and heat sources, ventilation. As a result, the project achieves high performance indicators: annual heat savings of 62.28 %, electricity 55.32 %, CO2-59.42 % reduction, PM10-56.17 % reduction. The range of improvements concerns heat recuperation from the ventilation system, the use of solar collectors for the production of hot water and the installation of LED luminaires. Thus, the project fits into 3 types of action 4.3 ROPs and the main objective of “increasing energy efficiency in the public sector”.
