The investment consists of: — extension of ul. Interrzecka, along with the extension of the junction with the S-1 expressway on the north and south side of the section with a length of 1.75 km, – construction of a new section of ul. Interrzecka 0.7 km long, – extension of ul. Cieszyn on a section with a length of 3.52 km. The project will contribute to the development of a coherent and functional road network in the Silesian Voivodeship and the City of Bielsko-Biała – in particular with expressways S-1, S-69, followed by national roads 1 and 52. Improving road parameters will increase traffic flow, eliminate bottlenecks and improve the safety of road users. Residents of Bielsko-Biała City and nearby communes (Jawor, Jasienica) will gain easier and safer access to nodes with the TEN-T network (S1, S69) and to economic centres (investment areas) located in Bielsko-Biała. The extension will increase the load capacity of the road to 115 kN/axis.
