Improvement of the historical infrastructure of the swimming pool in Siemianowice Śląskie together with the creation of attractive urban spaces for families with children – Park Hutnik

The subject of the project is the revitalisation of the Municipal Swimming Pool (the oldest in Poland) together with the adjacent Hutnik Park in Siemianowice Śląskie, which are included in the register of “A” monuments, by decision of the Provincial Conservator of Historical Monuments in Katowice of 17.11.1997, under register number A/1649/97. Modernisation of the Swimming Pool will mainly include renovation of the swimming pool hall (including, among others, strengthening of the pool structure, hydroisolation with polyurea, mechanical ventilation with recuperation), restoration of the facade and thermal modernisation of the facility. Works related to the development of the Hutnik Park will be carried out in 3 stages, covering mainly the adaptation of the existing bowl of the former water reservoir (after it is buried) for recreational functions in the form of an outdoor gym, playground and “walking fountain”, reconstruction, completion and modernisation of alleys, including reconstruction of the main entrance to the park and reconstruction of the lighting of the park. The implementation of the project results from the LPR for the City of Siemianowice Śląskie.
