This project consists of modernising the building of the former electric mill and adapting its premises to social and cultural purposes. The planned main functions of the revitalised facility include: library, reading room exhibition space, multifunctional room, quiet work rooms, incubator for free professions together with studios for creators, cafe. The purpose of the facility is to create the Cultural Cooperative (with the head office of the Municipal Public Library), in the form of an innovative and functional institution with an interesting architecture and a sufficiently large usable space, with numerous multimedia solutions and modern design, which would not only be a place fulfilling the needs of readers, but also giving the opportunity to spend a pleasant time, as well as a permanent platform of intercultural and intergenerational activities fulfilling the needs of intellectual and emotional users.
