The scope of the project includes modernisation and renovation of the historic railway station building in Ruda Śląskia. The project will make it possible to make the facility available to residents of the city (in particular the Chebzie district) for social and cultural purposes. It is planned to: construction works, external works, conservation works, installation works, land development and equipment. The main objective of investing in the Chebzie district is to create the conditions for strengthening the capacity to engage in social participation of members of the communities living in the Chebzie-New Bytom (Kaufhaus) area. The implementation of the investment will enable the conduct of a related project (funded by the ESF). The objective of a comprehensive approach is to ensure a sustainable social and economic recovery of the Chebzie-New Bytom (Kaufhaus) revitalisation area. The interchange function of the station will be preserved. The project is ready for implementation, a tender was announced for executing works
