Planetarium – Silesian Science Park. Modernisation and expansion of the Silesian Planetarium in Chorzów.

The aim of the project is to improve the quality of the educational services provided by the Planetarium through the use of innovative methods of increasing knowledge and skills that go beyond the curriculum at all levels of education. The project aims to bring people closer to the region’s knowledge of the Universe and to create a new quality in the public space, enabling the intermingling of science, culture, recreation and art – widening local and regional educational bases, shaping attitudes open to acquiring knowledge and improving professional qualifications of school and academia, offering methodical assistance, organising lectures, courses and trainings. The object of the project in the field of construction works is to transform the existing structures of Planetarium to create space for the expansion of educational and popularisation activities in the fields of astronomy, seismology and meteorology, as well as the purchase of equipment and equipment.
