The main objective of the project is to improve air purity in the Sędziszów Municipality by reducing pollutants into the atmosphere.The project’s subject is to assemble renewable energy sources in households in the municipality of Sędziszów. The project involves the construction of 220 photovoltaic installations with a total power of 806 kWp. Installation designs include the installation of PV modules in the existing power installation. The production of electricity from newly built RES installations will amount to 801.49 MWhe/year.In addition, the project assumes the construction of 135 solar collectors installations with a total power of 474.60 kW. The production of thermal energy from newly built RES installations will amount to 759.36 MWht/year. In these objects, the preparation of hot water is carried out using individual heat sources. The energy needed for this purpose is obtained mainly from hard coal. Newly built RES units will be installed on private buildings belonging to residents of the municipality of Sędziszów. The estimated annual decrease in greenhouse gas emissions (tonnes of CO2 equivalent) will be 862.68. In-kind scope of task n. The installation of renewable energy sources in the Sędziszów Municipality also includes investor supervision and promotion of the task. The project’s objectives and activities are in line with the specific objectives set for the 3-Efficiency and Green Energy Priority Axis – “Increased share of energy produced from RES in total energy production in Świętokrzyskie voivodship” and specific objectives Action 3.1 Production and distribution of energy from renewable sources of RAP WŚ for 2014-2020- umbrella projects. This project was included in the Low-Emission Economy Plan for the Municipality of Sędziszów for the years 2016-2020.
