Modernisation of street lighting in Bieliny commune

The project includes activities consisting of modernisation of street lighting in the Bielina Commune based on the use of energy-saving LED fixtures. The project involves the replacement of lamps and the installation of an energy control and management system based on ICT technology on existing poles. Due to the implementation of the project, significant savings in electricity and installed capacity and reduction of air pollution are foreseen. There are plans to modernise 1486 lighting points throughout the Bieliny Commune. The installation of energy-efficient street lighting will reduce the energy intensity of the public sector and reduce the demand for electricity in the Bieliny commune. The project is in line with the specific objectives of ROP WW 2014-2020 priority axis 3 and with the objective of action, as the project will result in a reduction of emissions of particulates and harmful substances into the atmosphere. The project is also compatible with the objectives of the PGN for Bieliny Municipality. Indicators characterising the achievement of the objectives of the project: 1. Amount of electricity saved [MWh/year]:575,52 – Approximate annual reduction in greenhouse gas emissions [tonnes of CO2 equivalent]:459,26 Total cost of the project: 3 437 602,77 zł The co-financing amounts to PLN 2 798 070,60 Own contribution amounting to PLN 639 532.17 Non-eligible expenditure: 145 755,00
