Extension of the sewage and water supply network in Śladków Mały, Chmielnik Municipality

The main objective of the project is to increase the population using the sewage treatment system in the Chmielnik Agglomeration area. This will be achieved by building new sections of sanitary sewage and water supply to which 40 new people will be connected. The project shall include the implementation of the following coherent actions: 1. Implementation of technical documentation 2. Construction of sanitary and pressing sanitary sewage system. 3. Construction of a sewage pumping plant. 4. Reconstruction and modernisation of the existing sewage pumping plant in Śladków Mały. 5. Construction of a water supply network with the necessary fittings and equipment. 6. Execution of GIS inventory, network monitoring and visualisation in SCADA system. The implementation of the project will contribute to an increase in the population benefiting from the sewage treatment system, in addition the project will contribute to: 1. solutions to the problems of sewage management in the Chmielnik Agglomeration – Śladków Mały, 2. protection of surface and groundwater against pollution (decommissioning of waste water and illegal direct discharges of waste water to the receiver), 3. improvement of the aesthetic values of the region, 4. equalisation of differences between rural areas and cities in terms of accessibility to basic technical infrastructure. The project’s objectives and planned for implementation of the action are in accordance with the specific objectives set for the 4 Priority Axis 2014 to 2020 and the specific objectives defined for Action 4.3. Water and sewage management. Increased percentage of population benefiting from a waste water treatment system in accordance with the Urban Waste Water Directive Indicators to be achieved: Length of built sanitary sewage system – 5.74 km Length of built water supply – 3.52 km Number of additional people using improved waste water treatment – 40 Number of additional people using improved water supply – 40 people.
