The project concerns the revitalisation of degraded and marginalised areas (63.48 ha) and aims to stimulate the activity of local communities and stimulate cooperation for socio-economic development and combat social exclusion. Through activities within 7 tasks, the project complies with the specific objective of Action 6.5 RPO i.e. Enhanced socio-economic, physical and spatial development of urban areas, including post-industrial areas. The project is part of the main activities of the municipality in the field of social, cultural and recreational services that are generally available. All tasks arise directly from the Municipal Revitalisation Programme and include: (1,2) the development of the Lubianka and Shepherd’s floodplains, which will create a space that is friendly to the inhabitants and allows for recreation and recreation; (3) a new shape of the public space Starachowice Dolne; (4) Modernisation of the SCK and the development of the environment, which will help to improve the quality of cultural offer and enable it to develop; (5) Reconstruction of residential facilities in the Hill Estate with the development of public spaces; (6) Improving the safety and attractiveness of the City Park and (7) rebuilding and adapting the Palace, where a place will be created for residents, young people, ngo, entrepreneurs and will allow for exchange of experiences and mutual learning. Support will be given to infrastructure facilities located in the revitalised areas (7 pieces). The implementation of the project will bring many benefits to the population living in the revitalised areas (5237 people). The project will finance the costs of rational rights for people with disabilities and 4 facilities will be adapted for the needs of people with disabilities.
