The main objective of the project is to improve the quality and wider accessibility of the facilities of assistance and social integration in the Chmielnik City and Municipality by modernising the building at Mielczarskiego Street in Chmielnik. The object of the project is to carry out reconstruction, expansion, renovation (modernisation) of an existing one-storey building with a change of use for social housing. The building will include thermal retrofitting works (roof and ceiling replacement, replacement of cover (currently eternit) replacement of windows, interior and external doors, replacement of electrical installations, replacement of water and sewage connections, connection to district heating, etc.). As a result of the work carried out in the building there will be 10 social premises with a total area of 390 m²: — 3 flats with an area of about 25 to 30 m² (single), – 2 apartments with an area of about 30 to 35 m² (double), – 2 flats with an area of approximately 35 to 40 m² (three persons), – 2 flats with an area of about 40 to 45 m² (four persons), – 1 apartment with an area of approximately 50 to 60 m² (five persons). Indicators: 1. Number of reconstructed facilities in which socio-professional activation services are carried out -1 2. Number of facilities adapted to the needs of people with disabilities -1 3. The number of projects which financed the costs of rational improvement for people with disabilities -1 the final beneficiaries of the project will be residents of the municipality of Chmielnik eligible for social housing, mainly unemployed persons benefiting from OPS assistance. The project will be implemented in areas covered by the Revitalisation Programme. The Social Assistance Centre submitted an application for funding of the project under measure 9.1, which is complementary to the project. The project is compatible with the objectives of action 7.3 Health and social infrastructure for projects implemented in the field of social services infrastructure
