The project is to facilitate accessibility to social services and assistance facilities by rebuilding and renovating two degraded buildings located in Porąbka and Lechów in order to adapt them to social housing as a form of assistance for people who find themselves or have already found themselves in a difficult life situation as a result of job loss, poverty, disability, long-term illness, alcohol problems and very often related violence in the family. Project activities respond to the needs diagnosed in the Municipal Strategy for Solution of Social Problems in Bielina Municipality for 2014-2020 i.e. according to SWOT analysis: the lack of social housing, protected housing and a small number of municipal housing will therefore be the achievement of the objective of: independent residents of the municipality independent of social welfare. The buildings that will be rebuilt and renovated as part of the project through, among others, their thermo-modernisation, replacement of roofs, window and door carpentry, replacement of internal installations in the past were so-called. The teachers’ homes. For many years, both buildings have been unused and deteriorated. The project involves the creation of 4 social housing in Porąbki and 2 in Lechów. As part of the project, the apartment will be equipped with the necessary equipment and furniture. The implementation of the project will complement the activities of the Applicant to create opportunities for local social development and activation of residents. The task covered by the proposal is part of priority axis 7 – Social and health infrastructure and its specific objectives, i.e. improved quality and wider accessibility of assistance and social inclusion facilities. Product indicator: number of reconstructed facilities in which socio-professional activation services are carried out – 2 units, number of facilities adapted to the needs of people with disabilities – 1 pcs.
