Extension of the primary school building in Sieraków

The aim of the project is to increase accessibility and improve the conditions of primary education by expanding the existing educational institution of msc. It’s Sieraków. The project’s objective is in line with the specific objective of Measure 7.4 “Development of education and training infrastructure” within the framework of RPOWŚ 2014-2020. Currently, the school in Sieraków has too few teaching rooms, does not have an exercise room, so students use the corridor, which is also a locker room. The facility also lacks adequate sanitary facilities and in April 2007 the building was partially incinerated. Children learn in too small rooms and the need for expansion is also the basis of the bottom-up initiative. Without infrastructure change, further education in this facility will not be possible. The annual inspections of SANEPID and the Fire Brigade impose uncomplied requirements without expansion. Demographic analysis of the area indicates a steady increase in population in the area. The school is used by two children. Sieraks and Strikes. Scope of investments: it includes an addition to the existing gym building and 3 classrooms with mathematic-natural equipment, corridor and sanitary facilities. The building will be adapted to the needs of people with disabilities. The expansion of the school in Sieraków is aimed at revitalising, improving functionality, aesthetics, convenience of use, improving the quality of teaching, innovation of pedagogical methods by enriching the educational, educational and caring offer of the school. The aim will also be to meet the expectations of the local community and to equalise the educational opportunities of children and young people in rural areas. Indicators: L. supported general education infrastructure facilities -1. L. facilities adapted to the needs of people with disabilities –1, Potential of supported childcare infrastructure or educational infrastructure – 91 persons.
