Comprehensive pulmonological rehabilitation as part of secondary prevention in people of working age suffering from chronic respiratory diseases

The project is implemented on the basis of the Regional Health Programme (RPZ) called: “Comprehensive pulmonological rehabilitation as part of secondary prevention in people of working age suffering from chronic respiratory diseases (CRD)” The key objective of the project is to carry out comprehensive pulmonological rehabilitation in people of working age living in the Świętokrzyskie Voivodeship, suffering from CRD, which are the main cause of temporary or permanent exit from the labour market. The project envisages carrying out 3 main tasks: 1. Promotion and information activities aimed at reaching as many residents as possible in the Świętokrzyskie Voivodeship with information about the launch of the project, opportunities to participate in it and the benefits that can be achieved. 2. Educational and training activities, the main purpose of which is to train medical workers. The training will include 400 people (doctors/doctors, nurses and physiotherapists/physiotherapists) working or intending to work with people suffering from CRD. 3. Organisation of pulmonary rehabilitation treatments within which 540 people will be subjected to the programme. The rehabilitation tour for each participant of the program will last 3 weeks: patients will undergo physiotherapist treatments, educational courses conducted by physiotherapists and a meeting with a psychologist are planned. After the end of the tour for 1 year, patients will be monitored – during regular telephone, e-mail and direct contact with the patient, the physiotherapist will document basic data on the patient’s health. Professional equipment for rehabilitation will also be purchased. The implementation of individual tasks will be carried out on the dates specified in the project schedule. The project will be implemented without the participation of partners.
