The aim of the project is to support cancer prevention in early cervical cancer by encouraging at least 3000 Women to carry out cervical cancer research by 31.03.2019. The main measurement indicator is: Number of persons who have volunteered for preventive research through ESF intervention 3000. The project involves building a sense of shared responsibility among the communities of the northern region. The aim of the project is to increase awareness of prevention among women and people around them. The target group is at least 3000 K working or inactive professionally due to poor health, who are learning, working or living in the northern subregion of working age (economic activity). In order to increase the complexity and efficiency of services, the project will be directed indirectly to 280 men, 28 doctors (16K,12M), 56 so-called local leaders (29K,27M). The implementation of the project will contribute to increased reporting for research in the region (also in other institutions outside the SCO). The activities envisaged in the project shall include: 1) Information and education activities (competitions, TV spots, radio spots, leaflets, posters, invitations, advertisements in the press, educational brochures). 2) Educational seminars 3) Information and education meetings for men, 4) increasing access to research, individual consultations. The amount of co-financing of the project will be: 1 579 343,52 zł Own contribution in kind 150 000 PLN, a cash contribution of PLN 36480 in the form of an artistic consultant’s salary. Total own contribution will amount to PLN 186 480.00. The project will be implemented from 1.04.17-31.03.19 in the area of 28 communes (Northern Subregion).
